Lisa, Ali and Becky
Our 1st guest is Lisa Bearnson the Founding Editor for Creating Keepsakes. Lisa has been a guest on “Oprah” and appears regularly on the QVC Shopping Network. She also travels throughout the United States attending Creating Keepsakes University where she teaches scrapbooking concepts, design and techniques. She is the author of Mom’S Little Book of Photo Tips, Baby Memories: The Big Idea Book, Joy of Scrapbooking, Mom’s Little Book of Displaying Children’s Art, Scrapbooking with Lisa Bearnson Vol. 1, Scrapbooking with Lisa Bearnson Vol. 2 and Our Family Scrapbooks, co-authored with Becky Higgins. Some of her favorite things are Scrabble, soymilk, bubble baths, American Idol, getting mail and playing with her family. She lives with her husband and five children in Alpine, Utah.
Our second guest is Ali Edwards the Creative Editor for Creating Keepsakes scrapbooking magazine and author of A Designer's Eye for Scrapbooking series of books, Ali's unique creative approach focuses on celebrating the everyday joys and challenges we all face in our lives. "I started scrapbooking in 2002 as a way to organize all the stuff I collected after the birth of my son. It has become so much more than an organizational process for me - it has let me find my own personal passion and voice." Ali shares cool concepts, design, and project ideas in her monthly Creating Keepsakes column: Studio A. Ali enjoys conducting workshops around the county and internationally, encouraging scrapbookers to tell their stories and enjoy the process. She maintains a blog about life and art (and the concept of "life artists") at aliedwards.typepad.com Ali lives in Eugene, Oregon. She enjoys travel, reading, and spending time with her husband and son.
Our final; guest is Becky Higgins is a Contributing Editor for Creating Keepsakes. She is known for her clean style and scrapbook “sketches.” She has written Creative Sketches for Scrapbooking, Creative Cards, My Creative Companion, Scrapbooking Secrets and The Art of Creative Lettering. Her unique lettering styles are featured on Creating Keepsakes “The Art of Creative Lettering” CD and the “Creative Clips and Fonts” CD. Becky’s newest book, Our Family Scrapbooks, is being released in June 2005. She loves photography, card-making, exercising and spending time with her family and friends. She lives with her husband and son in Cleveland, Ohio
