Our first guest today is Jennifer McGuire, a 2002 Creating Keepsakes Hall of Famer, has been scrapbooking and stamping for about five years, during which she has had numerous designs published in Creating Keepsakes magazines and idea books. Her work can be seen each month in CK's Tool Time article, where Jennifer shows the many things you can do with one tool or product. In June of 2007, her book, 101 Things to Do with Your Scrapbook Supplies, was released by Creating Keepsakes, based on her article. Jennifer also works as a designer for Hero Arts Rubber Stamps and the Autumn Leaves "Designing With" book series. Jennifer lives in Cincinnati. Almost 4 years ago, Jennifer left her job as an engineer in order to scrapbook full-time. Her family includes her dear husband, Ken, step-daughters, Kay (11) and Audrey (9), and new son, Colin (14 months). Our second guest is Judi Watanabe. Judi's love for card making started as soon as she was tall enough to reach the mail box. Learning to carve erasers led her to her next passion rubber stamping. Together with her husband Rob, she grew JudiKins Rubber Stamps from their garage in 1989 to become one of the most innovative craft product manufacturers in the industry today. Along with her corporate duties, Judi travels the world teaching and demonstrating rubber stamping techniques. Her projects strive to reflect her philosophy of "Simple Elegance". Judi's stamping style can be found in books, magazines, television and now on the web. She is currently awaiting the release of her first stamping DVD, Rubber Paper Scissors from Page Sage. |
