Our first segment will be used to share our experience with the continuing San Diego Fires and the enormous spirit of giving we witnessed. The fires also reminded us about just how important scrapbooking is to family heritage. Most TV interviews with those who were minutes ahead of the fires showed someone clutching a scrapbook or irreplaceable pictures. We will be exploring the question: Is it time to digitize with special guest Kristi McFadden Managing Editor for Scrapbook Dimensions Magazine.

Our first guest is Erin DeSpain one of the founders of Glitz Design a brand new scrapbook company that debuted at CHA Summer! Erin DeSpain along with Ginger John and Laura Funk founded Glitz Design with a dream of creating innovative, trendy scrapbook products that would shake up the industry. All three founders are wives and mothers with a passion for scrapbook and design. The “Glitz Girls” believe that every woman deserves to feel glitzy and glamorous whether she is cleaning her house or creating beautiful scrapbook projects!

Our final guest is Camille Akin. She founded Ever After Scrapbooks in 1999. She and her husband John have grown the store from a tiny 1,200 square foot store to a 7,200 square foot megastore. Camille is especially proud of Ever After’s annual Survivor Crop, a 24-hour scrapbook marathon that benefits the San Diego Affiliate of Komen for the Cure. Camille will update us on the success of this years event which finished just hours before the beginning of the terrible San Diego Fires.
