Moxxie, Scrapbook Mystery and Survivor Crop
Our first guest is Jennifer Wilson. She is the owner of Moxxie. Moxxie debuted in July of 2006 and has been rapidly growing to become a major company in the themed scrapbooking market. She formerly co-owned and operated a retail scrapbook store. Jennifer handles the marketing and financial aspects of the company. Our second guest is Laura Childs. She is the bestselling author of the Tea Shop Mystery series and the Scrapbook Mystery series. She is a consummate tea drinker, scrapbooker, and dog lover, and travels frequently to China and Japan with Dr. Bob, her professor husband. Her fifth Scrapbook Mystery, Frill Kill, was just released. Our final guest is Camille Akin. She founded Ever After Scrapbooks in 1999. She and her husband John have grown the store from a tiny 1,200 square foot store to a 7,200 square foot megastore. Camille is especially proud of Ever After’s annual Survivor Crop, a 24-hour scrapbook marathon that benefits the San Diego Affiliate of Komen for the Cure. Each year, with the help of nearly 200 women, Survivor Crop raises an average of $50,000.
