CK Hall of Fame, Dove of The East and Artgirlz
Our first guest is Allison Davis. She became a winner of the Creating Keepsakes’ 2007 Hall of Fame contest and then just four months later became one of the ten finalists in the Creating Keepsakes’ 2007 Scrapbooker of the Year contest. She's known for her 2-page layout designs and heartfelt journaling. Allison loves finding inspiration in fashion magazines and her sketchbooks filled with layout ideas. Our Second Guest, live fron Hong Kong, is Doveen Schecter. She, founder of Dove of the East. Her collections are based on the places where she’s lived and travelled. Her collections of treasure boxes, 12 by 12 inch acid free papers, rub-ons, amulets, charms, embellishments, ribbons and stickers include China Journey, Russia Journey, India Journey and Japan Journey. Dove of the East now offers over 125 products in 12 countries. Our final guests are Artgirlz and sisters Allison and Tracy Stilwell. Their quilts, dolls and decorative crafts are full of brilliant bursts of color and texture. Their gift and creative lines are placed in art museums nationally. Of significant note, Artgirlz custom designed a kit for the ³Dada² Exhibit that was held at the National Gallery in Washington DC in 2006. Their line can also be found at the National Museum for Women in the Arts, The San Antonio Museum of Art and Santa Barbara Museum of Art.
