Creating Keepsakes and Crafty Chica

Our first guest is Beth Opel, Senior Writer for Creating Keepsakes magazine, having recently moved to Utah from Indiana. Beth was inducted into the Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame in 2005 and was a Scrapbooker of the Year finalist in 2006. A Michigan native, Beth will always be a Midwestern girl, rooting for her Detroit and Michigan teams. In addition to scrapbooking, she loves to shop, travel, organize, sing and play piano.

Our second guest today is  Kathy Cano-Murillo, the Crafty Chica, a full-time artist and writer, most known for her site, CraftyChica.com. She makes and sells a line of home accessories and jewelry that have been sold everywhere from Bloomingdales to Target. She also teaches others how to do the same through her weekly syndicated newspaper craft column and blog. She has a web series on LifetimeTV.com, six published books and a seventh on the way, as well as two upcoming novels. But the varnish on her life right now is that this August, she and her husband are celebrating the release of the new Crafty Chica product line in Michaels stores!
